Printing Industries of America Unveils New Monthly Industry Conditions Dashboard

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 20, 2012—As a new exclusive service to members, Printing Industries of America has developed a monthly industry conditions dashboard. The Monthly Print Market Dashboard allows members of the association to assess current market conditions in their local market areas and nationally on an ongoing basis each month. With this information members can benchmark their current market conditions with hundreds of other printers.

The Monthly Print Market Dashboard provides timely information on five key indicators—monthly sales, sales expectations, profits, printing prices, and paper prices. Access to this information will allow faster and improved management decisions, providing members a key competitive advantage.

Survey findings over the past four months indicate that, overall, national print markets dipped slightly from May to June, improved slightly in July, and improved significantly in August based on printers experiencing increased sales.
