2012 Education Award of Excellence Recognizes Raymond Rafalowski
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, September 5, 2012—Printing Industries of America would like to congratulate Raymond Rafalowski, National Account Manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Fairfield, Ohio, the Industry Recipient of the 2012 Education Award of Excellence.
In its 27th year of honoring notable printing educators and trainers, the Education Awards recognized Raymond for providing training that goes beyond his routine professional responsibilities.
Raymond began his career in Pittsburgh as a letterpress typesetter and pressman at Neyhart Printing Company and moved onto become a cameraman at the University of Pittsburgh and Fisher Scientific Company. Currently, Raymond is enjoying his longstanding career with FUJIFILM North America, a global Fortune 500 company.
He is also recognized for his work for the Butler County Ohio Vocational Program as a school advisor in the Graphics Program, as an advisor to the Clemson Graphic Communications Program, and for his work with Printing Industries of Ohio and North Kentucky, an affiliate organization of Printing Industries of America, for his work with the Adopt a School Program to encourage students to enter the graphic arts as a career choice.
Raymond’s award will be presented Sunday, October 7, at the 2012 GASC/Printing Industries of America Teacher’s Conference at GRAPH EXPO in Chicago. For more information on Printing Industries of America’s Awards Programs, visit printing.org/awards or contact Michael Packard.
