Printing Industries of America Announces Joe Marin to Present at GRAPH EXPO 2012
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania–July 10, 2012, Printing Industries of America is pleased to announce Joe Marin, senior instructor/manager of Training Programs at Printing Industries of America will present three seminars at GRAPH EXPO 2012: Print Unleashed 1! New Media Methods for Crossing Communication Channels; Print Unleashed 2! New Media Methods for Crossing Communication Channels; and Winsome Websites: A Printers’ Guide for Getting YOUR Company Website Right.
Joe Marin is one of the industry’s leading voices on digital technologies. In addition to teaching, Joe coordinates, promotes, and manages Printing Industries of America’s public workshops, webinars, and training programs, including the best-selling Orientation to the Graphic Arts Workshop. He is a veteran speaker at GRAPH EXPO and other venues on color management and PDF workflow, and the author of Prepress Skills Training Program, Process Controls Primer, Digital Prepress Primer, and co-author of The PDF Print Production Guide, all published by Printing Industries Press.
Joe Marin’s sessions will include:
- Print Unleashed 1! New Media Methods for Crossing Communication Channels, scheduled for Sunday, October 7, 4:00–5:00 p.m., will focus on extending printed material to the Internet and rich media while providing marketers with valuable campaign feedback and analytics. Company owners, prepress managers and technicians, designers, and sales and account managers are encouraged to attend to learn valuable industry information about QR codes, augmented reality, and mobile technology.
- Print Unleashed 2! New Media Methods for Crossing Communication Channels, Monday, October 8, 2:00–5:00 p.m., is a special Mac lab session containing the perfect blend of instruction and hands-on opportunities to learn new and emerging technologies. Learn how to create mobile-optimized websites, customize QR codes, and learn SEO basics.
- Winsome Websites: A Printers’ Guide for Getting YOUR Company Website Right, Tuesday, October 9, 2:00–3:30 p.m. is ideal for company owners, CEOs, CFOs, and prepress professionals to learn to develop a mobile-ready website with the right message for your prospective clients.
