Tour Think Patented

Discover what it means to make every production decision with an eye on efficiency and automation. That’s what Think Patented did when it planned and then opened its new facility in 2013. Not only was the plant carefully designed and laid out to maximize throughput and minimize transportation and motion waste, but millions of dollars’ worth of software and equipment was purchased with automation in mind.

A 35-year-old company, Think Patented has successfully repositioned itself as a marketing execution company, offering print services, 1:1 marketing, mobile marketing, web-to-print solutions, fulfillment services, direct mail, and promotional products. The company’s move to a new facility last year allowed it to incorporate additional automation and workflow efficiency.  The 110-person company produces print using a range of sheetfed offset and digital presses, along with wide-format press equipment. The tour is being led by Niels Winther, Think Patented’s chairman and part-owner.
